Hazards of swimming naked are a mainly instrumental group hailing from Far North Queensland in Australia. Their music is a reflection of their surrounding environment and isolated townships.

The band was originally formed as a weekend project to keep the individual members in shape. But eventually their music proved so hypnotic and addictive that the hazards began to consume every waking, unconscious and somnambulate moment of its creators lives.

The hazards' sound has drifted over the years from dense terrorscapes to late night grooves to dreamy serendipitous currents and paranoid messes. The tracks posted here are from a yet unreleased collection of work which will be released in the next year on Jungle Library Records.

The Hazards are gearing up for a return to the RSL clubs and alleyways this coming spring. It's all about the H and the Z
