Ghost Town High make very loud contemporary rock music tinged with the punk ethos of the 70's and 80's. gtH have a sound that ranges from cathartic explosions of noise to layered washes of pensive chords, frenetic rhythmic shifts and honest vocals laid bare.
The band members have honed their musical skills and style growing up in a small Far Northern backwater. The band name is inspired by the many abandoned small towns in their home region which had seen their heyday in the 60’s and 70’s. gtH have been gigging around Brisbane for the past 9 months and have steadily built a following on the back of their incendiary live performances.
gtH entered the studio in late 2006 to begin tracking songs for a debut release and left with more than enough for an EP. Their debut EP "Side A: Revenge" is available now through JLR.
